We recommend Zinc air batteries. Zinc air hearing aid batteries are metal-air batteries which derive power from the process of oxidising zinc with oxygen from the air. They have high energy densities – meaning a small battery can produce a lot of power – and are relatively inexpensive for our clients. They have a relatively long shelf life when stored appropriately, meaning you can effectively buy in bulk and save. These are the batteries we supply automatically as part of our comprehensive service, but they may also be purchased separately.
